Effective October 1, 2012, the Fischer Insurance Agency in Wake Village Texas has been acquired by Service Insurance Group, Inc of Bryan, Texas. Terry Fischer has been in negotiations with Rodney Hurt to purchase his Texarkana area agency for much of the past month. We are glad that Terry will remain as manager of the Wake Village office and part owner of his book of business. Also remaining will be Customer Support Representatives Dianna Hall with personal insurance and Anita Burchett with commercial insurance. All accounting transactions will move to the Bryan office; otherwise the customers of Fischer Insurance should see little change. The clientele and market share of Fischer Insurance along with the staff members are a good fit for Service Insurance Group, Inc. and everyone involved is looking forward to future growth of the agency in the rapidly growing Texarkana market.
